Turkey Announces "Neutralization" of Senior PKK Leader

The Turkish intelligence announced today, Wednesday, the neutralization of a prominent leader in the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Ali Dentcher, during a significant security operation carried out in the city of Qamishli in the Hasakah province in northeastern Syria. Dentcher, who is wanted internationally, was described as the head of the Jazira region within the PKK and is considered one of the organization's most prominent leaders in the area. This is not the first time security operations have been conducted against PKK leaders in the region.
