Reminder of the Date for the Election of Members of the Lebanese Press Syndicate Council

The President of the Press Syndicate, Aouni Al-Kaaki, has reminded in a statement about the date of the General Assembly session to elect a new council for the syndicate for political and non-political publications. The statement reads: "In accordance with Article 23 of the Internal Regulations of the Press Syndicate, I remind my esteemed colleagues, members of the General Assembly of the Lebanese Press Syndicate, of the date of the electoral session of the General Assembly to elect a new council for the Press Syndicate representing political publications and non-political publications, as well as local news agencies. It will be as follows: - At 11:00 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024, for the category of political publications. This will be followed directly by the session for the category of non-political publications and local news agencies. This session will be legal with the presence of one-third of the members of the General Assembly, and will be held at the Lebanese Press Syndicate – Saeb Salam Avenue." Al-Kaaki expressed hope for "the esteemed colleagues' participation in the elections for the members of their syndicate council."
