As the war on the Gaza Strip continues for 9 months, with rising numbers of civilian casualties, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Shati refugee camp today, Tuesday. The airstrike hit a home belonging to Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, in the Shati camp west of Gaza City, resulting in the death of 13 people in the house, including Haniyeh's sister. Haniyeh had previously lost three of his children (Hazem, Amir, and Mohammad) along with three of his grandchildren in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a car in the Shati camp as well in April of this year.
