Title: The Islamic Shiite Council: Tomorrow, Wednesday, marks the first day of Eid al-Fitr

The Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, announced in a statement that it has been confirmed through legal means that tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, is the first of Shawwal, marking Eid al-Fitr. He congratulated Muslims on Eid al-Fitr and expressed prayers to God for the acceptance of the fasting and good deeds of the believers, and for their success in pleasing Him. He also prayed for goodness, blessings, and success for the Arabs, Muslims, and Lebanese people, wishing a return of Eid with victory and dignity for the Islamic and Arab nation, especially with the liberation from the filth of Zionist occupation, and for Lebanon to achieve stability and prosperity as it overcomes the crises and hardships it faces. He asked God to relieve the suffering of the people in Palestine, southern Lebanon, and Gaza, to support the resistors and the steadfast, to encompass the martyrs with His mercy, and to heal the wounded with His power. He concluded with well-wishes for all believers. Furthermore, Sheikh Al-Khatib has assigned his Eminence Sheikh Abdul Amir Shams Eddin, the Mufti of Jbeil, to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer and deliver the sermon at 8:30 AM tomorrow at Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Shatila Circle.
