The Israeli army announced today, Wednesday, that "Israeli tanks and artillery shelled Syrian army targets that violated the disarmament agreement signed in 1974 in the Golan Heights." In a statement, following the death of an Israeli couple from a missile fired by Hezbollah at the Golan, it stated, "The Israel Defense Forces considers the Syrian army responsible for anything that happens on its territory and will not allow attempts to violate the disarmament agreement."
