Title: Casualties in Attack on Egyptian and Arab Students in Kyrgyzstan

A group of Egyptian and Arab students in the Kyrgyz Republic was attacked by unknown assailants in their residence, resulting in fatalities and injuries, while security forces cordoned off the incident site. Kyrgyz authorities confirmed on Saturday that there were injuries among Egyptian and foreign students at their residence due to the attack. The Egyptian embassy in Moscow received reports about the "crisis of Egyptian and Arab students" in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, and affirmed that they are monitoring the situation after the students were attacked by unknown individuals while in their dormitory.

The Egyptian community in Kyrgyzstan issued a set of important guidelines for Egyptian students located in Bishkek. An Egyptian community coordinator in Kyrgyzstan stated that the situation has become dangerous and that the community wants to resolve the issue, calling for officials to intervene to end the crisis and prevent its escalation. The Egyptian community in Kyrgyzstan urged students to refrain from leaving their residences for any reason, avoid escalating tensions during interactions with Kyrgyz youth, not to stand by the windows, and to keep curtains closed at all times, only ventilating rooms through small openings. Approximately 29 individuals, all foreigners, were injured during protests the previous night, with the health condition of all injured individuals reported as stable after they were examined by doctors, according to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health.
