At least 13 people were killed on Tuesday in Kenya during anti-government protests, according to the head of the Kenya Medical Association. Simon Kigondo stated, "So far, we have at least 13 fatalities, but this number is not final," adding, "We have never witnessed anything like this before." He continued, "We have seen violence in 2007 after the elections, but we have never seen such a level of violence against unarmed individuals."
