Today, Tuesday, the President of the Lebanese Volleyball Federation, Walid Al-Qasouf, urged the families of the "Speedball Chekka" and "Al-Anwar Al-Jadida" clubs to exercise restraint and de-escalate the verbal exchanges currently ongoing since Sunday evening. Al-Qasouf emphasized that the federation's administrative committee maintains neutrality towards all clubs, including "Speedball" and "Al-Anwar." He reiterated the rescheduling of the fifth and final match to take place at 5 PM on Wednesday, May 31, at the Emile Lahoud Complex in Dekwaneh - Mar Roukoz, without spectators. He added that the match should be held in a spirit of sportsmanship from both sides, allowing the winner to be determined on the field and the loser to congratulate the winner. He considered that the exchanges between the two parties are far removed from the sport of volleyball, which perhaps has never witnessed such an atmosphere in its history. He concluded by stating that the federation has taken all necessary organizational measures for the match on Wednesday.
