The Al Hilal team, led by Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, secured the title of the Saudi Pro League after defeating Al Hazm in a match held between the two teams on Saturday evening. This marks Al Hilal's 19th title in the history of the Saudi Pro League, reaching 89 points with three rounds remaining in the competition, holding a 12-point lead over second-place team Al Nasr.
Al Hilal won against Al Hazm with a score of 4-1 in the 31st round of the Saudi Pro League at the Faisal bin Fahd Stadium. Al Hilal took the lead in the 15th minute of the first half with a penalty scored by player Alexander Mitrovic. Al Hazm equalized the match with a goal in the 34th minute of the first half by their star, Faiz Selimani.
Al Hilal added their second goal in the 39th minute of the first half when Al Hazm’s player, Ahmed Abdullah Al-Juaid, scored an own goal. In the third minute of stoppage time, Al Hilal scored their third goal through Mitrovic, followed by a goal from his teammate Milinkovic in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
The second half of the match saw no goals from either team despite attempts to score, leading to the final whistle with Al Hilal winning 4-1.
