The total value of all teams in the World Cup was estimated at around 15 billion euros. According to an analysis conducted by Lloyd's Insurance in London, supported by the Centre for Economic and Business Research, teams were ranked based on the overall insurance value of the players. The English team topped the list with an estimated value of 3.17 billion pounds (3.74 billion dollars), surpassing France (2.66 billion pounds) and Brazil (2.56 billion pounds).
Lloyd's stated that the assessment was based on a variety of criteria such as wages, sponsorship deals, age, and positions of each player. Bellingham was ranked as the highest player in terms of insurance value, followed by Mbappé and Vinicius Junior.
