Musk: Establishing a Permanently Habitable Lunar Base

American entrepreneur Elon Musk indicated on Sunday that "it is essential to establish a permanently habitable lunar base with the necessary conditions for life." Musk wrote on the social media platform "X": "We need to create a lunar base where life is possible permanently." In April, Musk stated that his company would be able to start transporting humans to the Moon within the next five years and to Mars within the next seven to nine years.
