Tomorrow: 9 Races for Arabian and Thoroughbred Horses

The Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club will host 9 races for Arabian and Thoroughbred horses tomorrow, Thursday, including the first round of the "Al Ain Marathon" at the sixth event, which has a total prize of 645,000 AED.

The "Al Ain Marathon" kicks off with the ninth and main race for pure Arabian horses over a distance of 3200 meters with a prize of 110,000 AED, featuring strong competition from elite horses including the mare "Al Mahboubah," the horse "Hakeem," and the mare "Lulwa."

The evening will start with a "Handicap" race for Thoroughbred horses over a distance of 2000 meters, boasting a prize of 60,000 AED, with participation from 9 horses, including "Yurman," "Saqara King," and "Unayzah."

A group of the strongest Arabian horses will compete in the second race over a distance of 2000 meters, with a prize of 85,000 AED, led by "Kirls Del Rock," "Bihwan," "Muneer Del Sol," and "Sunny De Lobe."

The third race, over a distance of 1400 meters, will feature the "Al Wathba Stallions" Cup for novice Arabian horses owned by private stables, with a prize of 70,000 AED, sponsored by the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Racing Festival, competing for the title are "Cliff de Carrier," "Al Abjar," and "Amjad Al Izz."

The fourth race, over a distance of 1600 meters, also has a prize of 70,000 AED, with a group of pure Arabian horses produced in the UAE, including "Al Hazem," "Al Murib," and "Miqat."

A set of novice Arabian horses in "First Division" will compete in the fifth race over 1800 meters, with a prize of 45,000 AED, including notable competitors "Zaid," "Investment Faisal," and "Free Bird."

The sixth race over a distance of 1800 meters, in the second division for novice pure Arabian horses, will feature strong competition for prizes also amounting to 45,000 AED, with contenders "Kashmir," "Muneer," and "United Spirit."

In the seventh race over a distance of 1800 meters, "Laheb" will face tough competition from "Al Arqam" and "Fadiyat Al Wathba," while the eighth race, worth 80,000 AED and over a distance of 1800 meters, will see an even contest among several Arabian horses, including "Al Mansour," "Jaafar de Orient," and "Jawhar."
