French-German Arms Company Opens Branch in Ukraine

The French-German arms company "KND" that specifically manufactures Caesar cannons has officially announced the establishment of a branch in Ukraine. This announcement coincided with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Paris on Friday. The company stated that its branch will produce military equipment and ammunition on Ukrainian territory, as announced by French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius at the end of March. Representatives from "KND France" and the Ukrainian company "INMEC" signed letters of intent, one concerning the establishment of a maintenance center for Caesar cannons and the other related to 3D printing of spare parts. Additionally, an agreement was formalized for the licensed production of 155 mm shells in Ukraine. The French Minister of Defense noted that "the most urgent need is for the provision of spare parts in Ukraine."
