Biden to Meet with Zelensky

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan predicted on Friday that "the United States will announce additional aid to Ukraine this week," revealing that "President Joe Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday at the White House." He mentioned that "Zelensky is also expected to meet with leaders from both the Republican and Democratic parties in Congress in Washington." According to Reuters, citing US officials, "the United States is considering shipping tactical missile systems capable of flying 300 kilometers or multiple launch rocket systems with a range of 70 kilometers equipped with cluster bombs, or both systems, to Ukraine." Kyiv has repeatedly asked the Biden administration to provide tactical missile systems to assist in attacks and cut supply lines, air bases, and railway networks in areas occupied by Russia. However, an informed source indicated that "the United States does not intend to announce the provision of this system to Ukraine during Zelensky's visit to the White House this week."
