Nine people suffered minor injuries, and dozens of flights were canceled after a small fire broke out at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City. Several individuals were taken to the hospital after flames erupted in an escalator at JFK Airport, according to a spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The fire caused smoke to rise through Terminal 8 around 7 AM yesterday, Wednesday.
