The second match between Libya and Kuwait was more exciting and competitive, ending with the first team's victory (76/89), despite the first half ending in a tie (39/39). The Libyan team, coached by the experienced Fouad Abou Shakra and supported by a large crowd of Libyan fans, managed to assert its dominance in defense and offense in the final minutes, setting up a showdown with the Tunisian opponent in the semi-finals tomorrow. Libyan player Naceem Ismail scored the highest with 26 points, followed closely by his American teammate Omar Fawaz with two points less.
The semi-final matches will take place tomorrow, Tuesday. In the first match, the Tunisian and Libyan teams will meet at 4:30 PM local time, while the second match will feature Egypt and the UAE at 7 PM.
