Bloomberg reported, citing an informed source, that Russia and Ukraine will exchange 90 prisoners of war today, Wednesday, in an agreement mediated by the UAE. Ukrainian media mentioned last week that the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, stated that the government is planning a "large" prisoner exchange with Russia soon, with the help of the UAE. Russia and Ukraine have conducted several prisoner exchanges during the ongoing war, which has lasted for 27 months since Russia's invasion of its smaller neighbor. Both Russia and Ukraine returned 90 prisoners in the last exchange, which took place in June and was also mediated by the UAE.
