Syrian writer and screenwriter Fouad Hamira passed away today, Friday, at the age of 59 due to a severe heart attack in Egypt, where he had been residing for several years after moving there from France. He had sought refuge in France after the Syrian war and had left the country due to his opposition to President Bashar al-Assad's regime. Syrian and Arab writers and actors mourned the Syrian screenwriter, who presented his famous series "Gazlan in the Valley of Wolves" years ago, on their social media accounts.
