British authorities have expanded their sanctions list against Russia, adding more than 40 new items to include companies and individuals from Russia and several other countries. The new sanctions target companies from Israel, China, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the Central African Republic. Among the companies included in the British sanctions are the air transport company "Volga-Dnepr," "Novatek Murmansk," "Murmansk Liquefied Natural Gas," "Modern Maritime Gas Transport in the Arctic," "Roskhimalians," "Rosatom Arctic," the Radio Engineering Plant in Moscow, the joint-stock company "VNIIR-Progress," government powder factories in Kazan and Tambov, the machine construction plant "Arsenal," and the head of the Moscow Exchange, Yuri Denisov. London has also joined the sanctions imposed by Washington on the Moscow Exchange, Ingostrakh, and the St. Petersburg Exchange.
