Lebanese Forces - Jbeil: We Found Solace in National Unity… Thank You for Your Solidarity and Support

The following statement was issued by the Jbeil region of the Lebanese Forces: We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the official, religious, and political references, all military and security forces, municipalities, local leaders, as well as our comrades and companions in the Lebanese Forces for the unlimited solidarity, abundant support, and deep affection you have shown during this difficult and painful period stemming from the kidnapping, assassination, and farewell of our dear martyr, Pascal Sleiman, the coordinator of the Jbeil region in the Lebanese Forces.

Your participation at various levels represents a genuine expression of solidarity and true empathy. We also thank everyone who came, from near and far, to stand by us, everyone who helped organize and coordinate the arrangements, and everyone who expressed their condolences in any way.

Yes, your solidarity has sent a message to anyone who dares to trivialize kidnapping, assassination, murder, and liquidation as if nothing had happened. The criminal has undoubtedly read this message that emphasizes that assassination is a red line that cannot be crossed without a united stance transcending sects and regions, rejecting the culture of violence and death.

What happened to martyr Pascal Sleiman could happen to any citizen who is committed to expressing their opinion, freedom, and national allegiance. No Lebanese will accept to turn into a martyr due to their political beliefs, nor will any Lebanese accept to submit to the status quo.

Your broad solidarity strongly expresses that lawlessness is rejected, the continued absence of the state is rejected, security pockets are rejected, unregulated borders are rejected, and illegal weapons are rejected. Security and safety are the demands of every Lebanese citizen who wishes to leave their home and return safely.

During this difficult time of sorrow and pain from losing our martyr Pascal, we found solace in the national unity manifested in his martyrdom, for the salvation of Lebanon and its people can only be achieved through this unity that ensures the transition to an effective state, which is a goal for all of us.

We will never forget Pascal, just as we have not forgotten and will not forget all those who fell defending Lebanon's sovereignty, state, freedom, and justice. We reaffirm that the national confrontation continues; we will persist in the journey for which our martyrs fell. The blood of Pascal will remain a testament to our determination and insistence on building the Lebanon we dreamed of and continue to dream of. We will work together to realize the dreams and aspirations of our people, leading Lebanon to safety. We will accept nothing but the truth and will spare no effort in achieving justice for Pascal and all martyrs who fell on the path to Lebanon's resurrection.

Thank you once again for your solidarity and support during this significant moment in Lebanon's history.
