The U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines condemned today, Monday, the "dangerous hostile maneuvers" carried out by Beijing near the Second Thomas Shoal in the South China Sea. Ambassador Mary Kay Carlson stated on the social media platform X that "China's actions have caused injuries and damaged Philippine vessels, and have hindered lawful maritime operations aimed at supplying Filipino military personnel with food, water, and essential supplies."
