Berri: Priority for Electing a President of the Republic

Sources from Ain al-Tineh revealed that "the priority is to elect a President of the Republic, and there is no communication or agreement or names being discussed among the political parties regarding the succession of Army Commander General Joseph Aoun." The sources added via "Al-Jadeed" that the Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, directly intervened to resolve the dispute between Army Commander General Joseph Aoun and Minister of Defense Maurice Slim and communicated with each of them.
