Pedri will face Rudiger again, who has garnered controversy for his behavior on the field, especially after he "pinched" Spanish striker Alvaro Morata in the chest during a previous match between Germany and Spain.
Pedri commented on facing Rudiger, saying: "He is a strong and very good center-back, but there is no need to be afraid of him. However, the pinching move is disrespectful to me because it hurts and annoys me."
It is worth noting that the last match between Spain and Germany took place during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar in the group stage, ending in a 1-1 draw.
