The Directorate of State Security stated that "in connection with the discovery of a factory in Nabatieh producing counterfeit Nescafe packaging containing brown sugar, which was previously reported on social media, a patrol from State Security in Nabatieh last night closed a facility in Zarariyah, inside which were found 1,330 boxes of Nescafe and all the machinery used in production, in addition to a warehouse in the town of Ansar, containing all the raw materials used in the manufacturing and counterfeiting processes. Both locations were sealed with red wax.
In detail, after the arrest of (H. Q.), (A. H.), (A. H.), and (M. A.) as directed by the judiciary, they initially denied any connection to the matter and claimed there were no other warehouses associated with the factory. However, late last night, they confessed to the existence of manufacturing equipment in the factory in Zarariyah and a warehouse in the town of Ansar, and the investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
