U.S. Ambassador to Beirut Dorothy Shea concluded her farewell tour with officials in Lebanon and departed to join her new position in New York, with incoming Ambassador Lisa Johnson expected to arrive before the middle of next month. In this context, Amos Hochstein, U.S. presidential advisor for energy, wrote on his account on the "X" platform: "Today we bid farewell to Dorothy Shea, one of our finest diplomats, & best #US Ambassador to #Lebanon.
