Palestinian media reports indicate that dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured early Wednesday in Israeli airstrikes and shelling targeting homes, buildings, and apartments in various areas of the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that 27 Palestinians, most of them displaced, were killed, with several others injured in intense bombardment carried out by the Israeli air force on the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza.
The agency added that "others were killed due to an airstrike by the occupation forces in the Al-Sadra area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, coinciding with artillery shelling on other areas of the city and its northern regions," noting that Israeli artillery targeted western areas of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. In the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, 6 bodies of martyrs were recovered from a house targeted by Israeli warplanes.
It was reported that 20 corpses were retrieved following an Israeli missile strike on an apartment building west of Gaza City, while fatalities and injuries occurred due to airstrikes in the Al-Sadra area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood. Israeli army artillery also shelled residential apartments in the "Mushtaha" building opposite the Shawasi Tower in Gaza City. According to Palestinian sources, the Israeli army forced patients outside the Shifa medical complex, and they were then transported by citizens to the Baptist hospital in critical condition.
