The first flight from Baghdad to Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman has launched, operating one flight per week that carries 180 passengers. This direct flight eliminates the need for transit for citizens, allowing for direct travel between the two countries. This step was coordinated between the Iraqi and Omani sides, especially in preparation for the opening of the route between the countries. The flights will continue weekly every Friday, with expectations for an increase in flights and destinations.
