Iraq: Foiling of Terrorist Plan and Arrest of ISIS Member

The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the capture of a terrorist attempting to enter the Rabia area in Nineveh Governorate to target it. According to a statement from the directorate, "Based on accurate intelligence information from the 15th Division's branch of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and in cooperation with the ground security forces, a well-organized ambush was established near the village of Oweinats, resulting in the arrest of one of the terrorists wanted by the Iraqi judiciary under the provisions of Article (4/Terrorism) in the Rabia area." The statement noted that the terrorist "was working with ISIS terrorist gangs and has been handed over to the requesting authority properly."
