Social media activists have reshared the last tweet published by Saudi poet, Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who passed away today, Saturday, at the age of 75.
In his tweet on the platform "X" dated April 29, he wrote:
"People don't care about your circumstances, it's the one who is saddened by your troubles, and if you carry your burden on your shoulders, you'll die and no one will see you."
His last tweet was viewed by more than one and a half million people on "X" and was retweeted nearly 7,000 times.
Comments poured in on the tweet, calling for mercy and forgiveness for the late poet. One user wrote: "May God have mercy on you and forgive you."
Another user commented: "But all of Saudi Arabia is with you, may God place you in the gardens of bliss."
One account remarked: "Is it possible that these verses will be the last thing you said to us?"
A user expressed: "Oh God, who would have thought this tweet would be his last... Take care of your tweets and delete those that displease God."
The Saudi poet, Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, passed away today, Saturday, and he is considered one of the most important poets in the Kingdom. His poetry was sung by prominent artists, including Mohammed Abdu, Talal Madah, Abdul Majid Abdullah, Abdullah Ruwaished, and Kazem El Saher.
