Russian nutrition expert Dr. Angelica has determined the ideal daily amount of ice cream that can be consumed without harming one's health. The expert notes that the perfect portion is "one serving" of ice cream, as this product contains 400 calories. She states, "This amount of calories is sufficient for engaging in intense physical activity for two hours. Considering that we do not eat ice cream alone throughout the day but consume various types of food, it is not advisable to eat ice cream every day as it contains a significant excess of additional calories that cannot be easily burned off."
According to her, one should choose ice cream that does not contain dyes, chemical agents, emulsifiers, or preservatives. She advises, "The main principle is to select a natural product, even if it does not look attractive or appealing, because it can be garnished with jam, for instance. The key is to eat ice cream in the first half of the day, so that a person has enough time to burn off the calories consumed."
Additionally, the doctor warns against eating ice cream outside, as it can be contaminated by airborne pollutants. She adds, "Eating ice cream can trigger allergic reactions and even various types of poisoning. If someone sneezes nearby, bacteria can spread in an area of up to half a meter, so it is better to consume this product at home or in a closed environment."
