In a new development in the "Gathering Butcher" case in Egypt, where a suspect is accused of murdering three women and dumping their bodies in desert areas in the governorates of Cairo, Ismailia, and Port Said, security forces have arrested a woman named Hanan, on charges of being involved in the events. Egyptian police investigations revealed that Hanan, known as "Um Shahd," was recruiting victims for the suspect, and she has been remanded in custody for 15 days pending investigations related to the Gathering Butcher case.
According to security investigations in Egypt, the suspect who killed the three women met Hanan to bring him girls. She denied involvement in the crimes, claiming her role was limited to just bringing them to him in exchange for money. Investigators heard from a girl who said she escaped death after getting to know Karim, the "Gathering Butcher," and exchanging mobile numbers with him, but she did not go to his house, according to local media reports.
During the investigations, the "Gathering Butcher" revealed the motives behind his crimes, stating that he committed them after confirming his wife's infidelity. He decided to take revenge on all women in his own way by bringing girls and engaging in sexual activities. However, the police could not verify the suspect's claims regarding the infidelity of his former wife through the investigations.
