Lionel Messi, the star of Inter Miami, has hinted at the impending end of his career with the Argentine national team. After the victory over Canada, which secured a place in the Copa America final early Wednesday, Messi stated: "I know these are my last battles, and I'm enjoying them to the fullest."
He expressed through Argentine radio station Disportes: "What this team has done and what the Argentine national team is doing is crazy, and after this, all the finals I’ve played will gain greater importance."
The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star added: "We should enjoy what the team is achieving and make the most of it." Messi is preparing to play in the Copa America final for the fifth time in his career, having previously competed in 2007, 2015, 2016, and 2021.
