Agreement Signed Between LIBNOR and UNDP

The General Director of the Lebanese Standards and Metrology Institution (LIBNOR), Engineer Lana Dgham, and the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lebanon, Mohamed Saleh, signed a memorandum of understanding between the institution and the program, in the presence of LIBNOR's board members and team. The memorandum aims to activate cooperation and combine efforts in the field of renewable energy, enhance engineering practices and regulations related to sustainable energy, development, and the environment in Lebanon, develop national specifications concerning these areas and green buildings, and increase awareness and application thereof. The memorandum also establishes a framework for supporting institutional capacities and securing the necessary resources for LIBNOR in the area of digital transformation to ensure the automation of its operations and the development of its services.
