Scottish forward Lee Erwin scored the leading goal for Al-Ahed. Last week, Al-Ahed lost the first leg 0-1 against their opponent at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman, which was considered a home game for the Lebanese team. Al-Ahed previously won the tournament in 2019, marking the first time in Lebanese football history.
