Mass Poisoning Due to Fast Food in a Restaurant in Diyala

The former head of the Al-Mansouria district council in Diyala province, Ragheb Al-Anbaki, revealed a mass poisoning incident due to fast food at a local restaurant. Al-Anbaki stated in an interview with "Baghdad Today" that "more than 70 cases of poisoning were recorded after consuming a meal at a fast food restaurant in the center of Al-Mansouria." He further explained that "some were sent to the Baquba hospital while others were transferred to the health center for treatment." He added that "most cases are in stable condition and have returned home, with no fatalities reported." Al-Anbaki also mentioned that "health monitoring teams have closed the restaurant and opened an immediate investigation to determine the causes of the poisoning."
