Passengers on a British Airways flight described their experience as a "filthy turbulence," as they were forced to watch a man and a woman engage in a sexual act under a blanket. A passenger named Farah (26 years old) recorded the incident that took place on Tuesday during an early morning flight from London to Dublin.
She stated in comments reported by the New York Post: "It was completely obvious what they were doing," on a plane packed with passengers, including "children running up and down the aisles." Farah, who was also accompanied by her mother, added: "I was turning to look at my brother when I saw a lot of vigorous movement in the seats on the other side; it was a very shocking sight, and it lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes of the flight."
She continued: "When they were asked to fasten their seatbelts, it was very clear that he was zipping up his pants; it was disgusting, to be honest." She explained: "It was extremely embarrassing for me to be sitting with my brother and witness that."
A spokesperson for British Airways stated in a statement: "Our cabin crew were not alerted to any issues on board. Had they been informed, they would have taken appropriate steps to address the matter."
