Israel Announces the Death of Two "Senior Militants" in Jenin

Israeli media reported that the Israeli army killed two senior militants and arrested several wanted individuals during an ongoing operation in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that the army used "Lao" and "Matador" missiles on the building where a group of militants was located. Local sources told the Palestinian news agency that Israeli forces raided Qabatiya with heavy military reinforcements and a bulldozer, following a special force's incursion and besiege of a house in the Kahalisha area. It was added that the forces launched "Energa" missiles at the house, coinciding with the flight of an Apache warplane above the town. The sounds of consecutive explosions and intense clashes were heard, and ambulances were prevented from reaching the besieged house in Qabatiya, near Jenin.
