The secondary certificate examinations commenced in Sidon, amid calm conditions. It was reported that there was a delay in delivering the exams to the centers, which received them at 8:38 AM, but they were not distributed to the students until 9:00 AM, as a decision was awaited from the ministry to start the exams for all students across the governorates at a unified time. Amani Shaaban, head of the Education Department in the southern educational region, inspected the progress of the exams at the al-Islah Official Intermediate Mixed School center in Sidon.
