The "Lawyers" team won the Lebanon Third Division Basketball Championship by defeating the Al-Wahda (Shouf) team (2-1) in a best-of-three final series. The "Lawyers" team secured the decisive third match with a score of (74-71) in an exciting game held at the Louaizeh School (Zouk Mosbeh) with the presence of the federation president Akram Halabi, the secretary general attorney Charbel Michel Rizk, several federation members, and a decent audience.
The victory of the "Lawyers" team represents a new achievement for the team, which has been on an upward trajectory since its establishment several years ago under the name "Lawyers Union Sports Club," now called "The Lawyers." In conclusion, Halabi presented the championship trophy to the winning team. He, along with Rizk and the federation members, awarded gold and silver medals to the players of the winning teams. As a result, "The Lawyers," Al-Wahda Shouf, and Arz Tannourine have qualified for the second division after Arz Tannourine, which placed third in the third division championship, won against Beirut 1875, which ranked 14th in the second division (2-0) in the promotion and relegation matches, leading to Beirut 1875's relegation to the third division.
