Media reports indicated that a meteor was spotted in the sky between the two countries on Saturday evening, stunning citizens with its bright blue color, according to the Independent newspaper. Observers noted they had been waiting to catch glimpses of the Lyrid meteor showers, highlighting that the peak activity this year would occur on April 21 and 22. They also pointed out the possibility of about 20 meteors reaching Earth.
Videos spread across social media, including one showing a woman dancing in the street after a flash of blue and green streaked across the sky above her. Other clips shared on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, displayed the meteor racing through the sky. Additionally, others were seen at music festivals, and people in camps observing this event.

Firefighters had inspected the meteor's landing area, stating that as of 2 AM local time, they had not found anything.
