Abadi Al-Jawhar Weeps on Air Discussing Badr bin Abdul Mohsen

In a sorrowful tone, Saudi artist Abadi Al-Jawhar spoke about the death of Prince and poet Badr bin Abdul Mohsen, explaining how he would sit and talk with him for long periods. In an interview with "Al Arabiya FM," Al-Jawhar couldn't hold back his emotions when the host asked him for a final message to the deceased, shedding tears live on air and expressing his condolences to the family of the late prince. It is worth noting that Prince and poet Badr bin Abdul Mohsen passed away yesterday, Saturday, in the French capital at the age of 75 after suffering from illness. The poet, nicknamed "Engineer of Words," was born in Riyadh on April 2, 1949. He was known in Saudi and Arab circles as one of the foremost pioneers of modern poetry in the Arabian Peninsula, with his works encompassing themes of love, pride, elegy, and the social and political realities of Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
