Shoigu Reveals the Scale of Ukrainian Military Losses

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced today, Wednesday, that "Kiev's forces have lost over 71,000 personnel and 11,000 pieces of various weapons since the beginning of 2024, which is nearly three times the numbers from the same period last year." During a meeting with officials at the Russian Defense Ministry, Shoigu stated, "Since the beginning of the year, 4 American Abrams tanks, 5 German Leopard tanks, 27 American Bradley fighting vehicles, 6 American HIMARS rocket launchers, and 11 missile platforms, including 5 Patriot missile systems, have been destroyed." He added, "Ukrainian military losses since the beginning of 2024 amount to over 71,000 soldiers and 11,000 units of various weapons. This is approximately three times higher than the figures from the same period last year." Shoigu also pointed out the significant desertions occurring within Ukrainian forces amidst their heavy losses on the field.
