The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, announced that she is making "good progress" in her chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Kate said in a personal message written and published yesterday, prior to her first public appearance today, that following her surgery which revealed her cancer diagnosis, she "has not passed the danger stage." She noted that she was deeply touched by the thousands of kind messages she received from around the world after announcing her cancer diagnosis in March. She added that those messages had a significant impact on both her and her husband, Prince William, the heir to the British throne.
