11 Iraqi Cities in the List of the Hottest 15 Places in the World

Eleven Iraqi cities ranked among the top 15 cities with the highest recorded temperatures in the world over the past 24 hours. According to data, the top four cities recording the highest temperatures in the world during the last 24 hours were all in Iraq. Al-Amarah ranked first with an average temperature of 50.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Nasiriyah in second place, Basrah in third, and Al-Kut in fourth. A Kuwaiti city and an Iranian city came in fifth and sixth, respectively. Karbala ranked seventh, Samawah ninth, Basrah/Airport eleventh, Najaf twelfth, Ali al-Gharbi thirteenth, Budrah in Wasit fourteenth, and Al-Rifai in Nasiriyah fifteenth with a temperature of 49.4 degrees Celsius.
