The Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza announced yesterday the death of 4 children in the north of the region due to hunger and dehydration resulting from the ongoing Israeli blockade for months, which has prevented the delivery of food, medicine, and milk to northern Gaza. The hospital indicated the opening of a special department to receive cases of malnutrition and dehydration, confirming the arrival of hundreds of cases suffering from hunger, thirst, and malnutrition. It also noted that more than 40 children have died due to hunger and malnutrition since the war on Gaza began in October. For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent has confirmed that the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic, with hunger besieging over half a million Palestinians, and the Israeli army continuing to prevent international organizations from delivering the necessary quantities of food and medicine to the residents of northern Gaza.
