Suspected Iranian Agendas harboring malice towards the Emirates

A statement was issued by the Media Affairs Authority of "Future Movement," which said: "The policy of hostility towards the brotherly Arab countries continues to govern the newspaper 'Al-Akhbar' and controls its bitter pens, which, for some time now, have launched an ill-motivated campaign against the United Arab Emirates, with a directive from the party executing Iran's destructive agenda, harming Lebanon and the Lebanese, especially those living and working there, who are met with nothing but brotherhood, love, and kindness from its leadership and people."

The statement added: "It seems that 'Al-Akhbar,' since its inception, has been fighting the project of establishing the state in Lebanon, utilizing all its resources to support the project of the mini-state and the misdeeds it commits against the Lebanese and our Arab brothers. It fails to comprehend that the UAE is a true state governed by laws that do not discriminate against residents except based on their compliance with these laws."

It continued that "in the UAE, there is a state that respects Lebanon's sovereignty and embraces its citizens, expecting them in return to respect its sovereignty, system, and laws, rather than offending it and becoming embroiled in dubious Iranian agendas harboring malice for this brotherly country and its kind people."

It asserted that "it's imperative for 'Al-Akhbar' to reconsider its spiteful policies against Arab brothers in this era of Arab and regional reconciliations, and to cease interfering in the internal affairs of fellow Arab countries."

The statement concluded, "The people of the UAE know their affairs and system better than anyone else and are vigilant against conspiracies plotted against them, regardless of the loud discordant voices whose only function is to support agendas that do not wish well for the UAE, a nation that has consistently brought good to Lebanon throughout all times."
