Israeli Labor Party leader Yair Golan stated that "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not intend to take responsibility and leave, so we must intensify civil protests." Golan asserted that "someone who has systematically harmed Israel's security does not deserve to be Prime Minister." He added, "The investigation committee regarding the submarines case has provided further evidence of Netanyahu's incompetence to manage the state's affairs." A government committee investigating the so-called "submarines case" announced that it has sent warning notices to five individuals it believes may be affected by its investigation, including Netanyahu and former Navy chief Admiral Ram Rothberg, according to the Times of Israel.
