The British Maritime Trade Operations reported today, Sunday, that it received a report about a distress call from a ship 96 nautical miles southeast of Nashaton, Yemen. The agency revealed that the ship sent a distress signal due to flooding on board, indicating that "the captain and crew abandoned the vessel, and they were rescued by another ship." Earlier today, the agency noted that it received a report about an incident 65 nautical miles from the Yemeni port of Hodeidah. The British agency added that the captain of a commercial ship reported being attacked by a drone, which caused damage to the vessel without injuring the crew.
