Axios reported that the United States, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority held a secret meeting last week regarding the Rafah crossing. The meeting discussed the reopening of the Rafah crossing as part of a swap deal. The report added that Israel confirmed during the meeting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposes any official intervention by the Palestinian Authority in the crossing.
