Ukraine Signs Security Agreements with Lithuania and Estonia

During the European Union summit, security agreements were signed between Ukraine and both Lithuania and Estonia, with the signing ceremony broadcast online by the European Council's press service. The documents were signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, and Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. The EU and the signing countries did not provide any details about the content of the agreements. Earlier in the day, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell stated that an agreement on security guarantees for Kyiv would be signed in Brussels in the coming hours. Borrell indicated that the document would include military, financial, and diplomatic assistance to Ukraine.
